Founded in 1945 by legendary upholsterer and furniture repairman W.F. Brine, the company was passed to his son, the late Bucky (Mel) Brine, in the early 1970’s. Under Bucky’s direction the business grew, diversifying into fabric sales, window coverings, blinds, and general design services. The company name was changed from W.F. Brine Ltd. to Brine’s Upholstery and later to Brine’s Decorating & Interior Design Centre to reflect this new direction. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Brine’s Decorating operates under the creative leadership of Bucky’s son, Rob Brine, and his wife, Suzanne, herself an accomplished interior designer and connoisseur of life’s little luxuries. Rob and Suzanne are proud to lead Brine’s and their qualified staff of craftspeople into the 21st century offering more services and superior-quality products than ever before.

Brine’s storefront is located at 164 Collishaw St., near the corner of Collishaw and Vaughan Harvey in Moncton, NB. Customers are invited to stop by our retail showroom five days a week to preview our quality lines of fabric and blinds, see some examples of our design team at work, and discuss how we can help you create a space that you will never want to leave!
