A family room is often the most visited space in the home. Our client’s goal with this room was to maximize the marvelous view created by the large windows, as well as accentuate the beautifully crafted woodwork on the tray ceiling.

When creating a space for their guests, homeowners often want to put them at ease. Our main goal when designing this guest suite was to offer a cozy, warm and inviting space that gives guests a touch of “home away from home”. This project, completed in an incredible 4-week period, is the result of a complete transformation of an area that was previously a 3-car garage. The challenge here was to not only create an inviting space, but also to use appropriate furniture to complete the scheme of the room and fill such a large space accordingly. To achieve these goals we chose large-scale, luxurious furniture and accessories from some of the best brands available including Ralph Lauren, Robert Allen, Pride of Paris, and Joanne Fabrics.

Created during the same 4-week period as the guest suite, this former unfinished basement received an extensive update, being transformed into a modern yet elegant grand theatre. While working within a restrictive budget, we worked closely with an established theatre installation company in accommodating the existing theatre equipment, ensuring that the viewing experience would not be compromised. The offset, multi-stage seating was designed specifically with this in mind, and offers a grand theatre effect that is guaranteed to impress the client’s visitors. Additional enhancements also add to the theme. An authentic popcorn machine and theatre-style curtains complete with masquerade mask give this space a genuine grand theatre theme.
